About Mike Reeder
Mike began practicing law in Ashland, Oregon as Assistant City Attorney, where he focused on land use, planning, and code enforcement issues.
Since 2006 Mike has been a private land use attorney representing a wide variety of clients on various development, land use, and permitting issues at the initial permit application stage with local government up through the appeals stages at the Land Use Board of Appeals and Oregon courts. Mike also represents clients throughout Oregon on various code enforcement issues and property disputes. Mike taught the land use law course as an adjunct instructor at the University of Oregon School of Law from 2013 to 2019.
Mike graduated from Washington State University in 2000. He received his J.D. in 2003 from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he clerked with the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, Lane County Legal Aid and Lane Council of Governments. Mike is a member of the Oregon State Bar’s Real Estate and Land Use Section.
